This playscript produces rounded boxes with a drop shadower without using images. You are able to use different formats on the same page. Highly customizable. Non-obtrusive.

JavaScript-generated rounded corners for any DIV element. Corners are anti-aliased, and support borders of any width and color. Displays nicely with square corners, if JavaScript is turned-off. No images or CSS required.

This is a tableless CSS form which you can use as a template for implementing your own lightweight form. It uses a combination of float and negative margins to create a two column layout for the form. One issue with the form is IE6's three pixel jog bug, which is addressed in the demo manually, by offsetting the jogged checkboxes with an additional margin. You may wish to implement a more thorough fix, though it will increase the size of the code. IE7 does not suffer from the 3 pixel bug.

By using an element's border-style CSS attribute to outset, you can easily create a 3D looking button. Taking it one step further the button can also appear depressed if desired, by switching from a border-style value of outset to inset.

Most people would agree the default look of submit buttons is rather dull and unattractive. Using CSS and a nice gradient background image, it's easy to transform a form button from a duck to a swan.
