Use JavaScript to put the current time on your page. It even follows the time in A.M. and P.M.! A nice script.
You can use this script as cross-browser replacement for IE's uilt-in MARQUEE tag (which doesn't work in anything except IE). Adjust the various settings in the script to get the effect you want. The 'boxwidth' setting should be set wide enough for the content to bounce.

There is a bug in Netscape 4.x which causes the page to scroll unpredicatably using the window.scrollTo() method when there are both horizontal and vertical scrollbar present.
